EDGE OF SANITY’s heavy yet adventurous sixth album, “Infernal”, is finally re-issued 27 years after its initial release. Originally recorded at Abyss Studio with Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy, Pain), songwriter/frontman/producer Dan Swanö (Opeth, Dissection, Bloodbath) has now pulled all the stops to remaster “Infernal” to its full potential, to make it available again as Ltd. 2CD (11 + bonus CD with 14 tracks) with O-card and also for the very first time on LP (11 tracks). This ultimate edition of “Infernal” includes its unreleased 1996 demo, a remaster of the bonus-track "Moonshine" and nine relentless, vintage EDGE OF SANITY live tracks from 1991 on its bonus CD. First issued in 1997, “Infernal” features critical cuts like "Hell is Where the Heart is", "15:36", "Helter Skelter", "Losing Myself" or the portentously titled "The Last Song". Even as EDGE OF SANITY’s classic line-up entered its twilight phase on “Infernal”, longtime fans and new devotees to the faithful will now obtain the chance to re-visit one of the most diverse and underrated releases by EDGE OF SANITY.
